Hand building Foundations is a 4 week course designed for absolute beginners and those wanting to reconnect with the foundations of clay in a calm, creative, and supportive environment.

Throughout the course, you will explore a range of traditional hand building techniques while learning how to slow down, enjoy the process, and create beautiful functional and sculptural ceramic pieces by hand.

Over the four weeks we will cover the following components:

Week 1 – Mug Making, Pinch Pots & Coils

Learn the foundations of hand building through pinch pot and coil techniques while creating your own handmade mug and small vessels.
