About the event

MOTHER'S DAY High tea, Harp & Handbuilding Workshop

Mother's Day High Tea & Handbuilding Workshop is where you and your mother, sister or friend can come and get creative at the NOT YET PERFECT pottery studio.

During this 2 hour pottery workshop our teachers and hosts will guide you through the techniques to make you very own cermics, all whilst enjoying a high tea style spread.

Once your masterpieces have been created they can then be painted to add a more personalised touch.

There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.

Handbuilding- Mugs, Vases, Planters

Mimsosa or Tea on arrival

High Tea Style Grazing

Complimentary firing and glazing of 1 pieces per person

***Please note: 

All work will be glazed in clear or white glaze. 

If youd like additional pieces fired a firing fee applies. Firing fee start at $20 per piece

What to bring

Yourself, apron or towel

What to wear

Casual comfortable clothes, short nails.

Remove all valuable jewelry.


Terms & Conditions

Tickets & Refund

Please select carefully when choosing your workshop date and time. We DO NOT refund or reschedule workshop bookings. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.


If requested for, all pieces made will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup a minimum of 8 weeks after the workshop date. All participants will be notified via text when items are ready for pickup.

Firing Fees

Firing fee of $20 per piece paid during your workshop covers the trimming process, glazing of your works and 2 kiln firings.

Pottery Breakage

In the unfortunate case were your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Not Yet Perfect do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of the firing process- pottery is a beautiful yet delicate process.While we take the utmost care to ensure all works are delivered in the best conditions, in the case were any ceramics breaks due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered.
