Pottery with Friends is exactly that.

We are going back to the basics, stripping it back.

Come, Sit & Make with Clay.

During this weekly Monday night session you can make yourself comfortable at Not Yet Perfect Studio.

Bring a friend or two, or come solo.

There is no formal lesson, just a space for you to create and a teacher on the night to guide you through a simple project, or bring your own and get some advice & guidance.

Carve out time for yourself, to create once again, and come make some Pottery with Friends at Not Yet Perfect Studio.

What you will learn

• Pottery- there will be a weekly Handbuilding Project

• Clay and tools

• Tea & Cake

• Complimentary firing & glazing of 1 medium piece

• If any additional work made is kept, a $20 charge per piece is applicable to cover firing and glazing. All work will be glazed in gloss glaze.

What to bring

• An apron or towel

• BYO snacks and drinks if you’d prefer

What to wear

• Casual comfortable clothes, short nails

• Remove all valuable jewellery

Tickets & Refund

Please select carefully when choosing your workshop date and time. We DO NOT refund or reschedule workshop bookings. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.

Firing

If requested for, all pieces made will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup a minimum of 6 weeks after the workshop date. All participants will be notified via text when items are ready for pickup.

Firing Fees

Firing fee of $20 per piece paid during your workshop covers the trimming process, glazing of your works and 2 kiln firings.

Pottery Breakage

In the unfortunate case where your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Not Yet Perfect do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of the firing process- pottery is a beautiful yet delicate process.

While we take the utmost care to ensure all works are delivered in the best conditions, in the case where any ceramic breaks due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered.
