Welcome to our Pottery Workshop: Handbuilding Sculptural Vase Edition! If you're eager to explore the world of pottery and create a unique, expressive sculptural vase, this workshop is the perfect opportunity for you.

Workshop Description: Handbuilding Sculptural Vase

In this immersive workshop, you will dive into the fascinating art of handbuilding to craft your very own sculptural vase. Handbuilding offers a wonderful way to shape clay into functional and artistic forms using your hands and basic tools. Our skilled instructors will guide you through every step of the process, from working with clay to glazing your masterpiece.

We welcome individuals and groups to come, enjoy morning tea on us, and learn a new skill during this creative experience.

There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.

What you will get

• Morning tea complimentary of the studio

• Clay & Tools

• 1 Complimentary piece fired & glazed

• If any additional work made is kept, a $20 charge per piece is applicable to cover firing and glazing. All work will be glazed in gloss glaze.

What to bring

An apron or towel

• Casual comfortable clothes- Preferable black or a dark colour.

• Short nails

• Remove all valuable jewellery

• Adults, 16+

Tickets & Refund

Please select carefully when choosing your workshop date and time. We DO NOT refund or reschedule workshop bookings. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.

Firing

If requested for, all pieces made will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup a minimum of 8 weeks after the workshop date. All participants will be notified via text when items are ready for pickup.

Firing Fees

Firing fee of $20 per piece paid during your workshop covers the trimming process, glazing of your works and 2 kiln firings.

Pottery Breakage

In the unfortunate case were your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Not Yet Perfect do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of the firing process- pottery is a beautiful yet delicate process.While we take the utmost care to ensure all works are delivered in the best conditions, in the case were any ceramics breaks due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered.

COVID-19 POLICY

Due to an overwhelming number of Covid related cancellations and revised government guidelines, we have updated our cancellation policy with immediate effect.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment at short notice due to Covid, we will require a copy of your positive PCR result in order for our standard policy $50 cancellation fee to be waived.

If you are a close contact, our standard cancellation/reschdueling policy $50 fee will still apply.
