Self Care Sunday- Vase Making Workshop (Hand building)

Self Care Sunday is all about taking a moment to reset, and what better way to do that with an afternoon of creativity.

Our Hanbuildig Pottery Workshops are a great way to get some friends together and enjoy an afternoon of Creativity, Community & great Conversation.

During this workshop, you'll be guided through the process of creating a ceramic vase from stoneware clay.

Our pottery workshops are held at the Not Yet Perfect Studio at Heathcote Cultural Precinct, Applecross, and are a great time to, relax, unwind and meet other like-minded people. No experience required, simply come and create...

We cant wait to host you in our studio!

What you will get

• Morning/Afternoon tea complimentary of the studio

• Clay and tools

• 1 Complimentary piece fired & glazed

• If any work made is kept, a $20 charge per piece is applicable to cover firing and glazing. 

All work will be glazed in gloss glaze.

What to bring

• An apron or towel

• Casual comfortable clothes, short nails

• Remove all valuable jewellery

Tickets & Refund

Please select carefully when choosing your workshop date and time. We DO NOT refund or reschedule workshop bookings. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.

Firing

If requested for, all pieces made will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup a minimum of 8 weeks after the workshop date. All participants will be notified via text when items are ready for pickup.

Firing Fees

Firing fee of $20 per piece paid during your workshop covers the trimming process, glazing of your works and 2 kiln firings.

Pottery Breakage

In the unfortunate case were your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Not Yet Perfect do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of the firing process- pottery is a beautiful yet delicate process.While we take the utmost care to ensure all works are delivered in the best conditions, in the case were any ceramics breaks due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered.

COVID-19 POLICY

Due to an overwhelming number of Covid related cancellations and revised government guidelines, we have updated our cancellation policy with immediate effect.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment at short notice due to Covid, we will require a copy of your positive PCR result in order for our standard policy $50 cancellation fee to be waived.

If you are a close contact, our standard cancellation/reschdueling policy $50 fee will still apply.
