Over 8 weeks, you’ll be guided by our experienced and creative teacher, giving you all the skills and techniques needed to become a capable thrower.

This course covers the foundations of wheel throwing, to surface decoration and glazing, and is suitable either for complete beginners or intermediate level creatives.

The course is structured so that each week focuses on a new and advanced technique, but we also place a lot of emphasis on time for practice and experimenting.

You’ll get to learn the basics on how to centre, throw cylinders, make your own ceramic homewares such as cups, mugs,bowls and vases, and how to trim and shape your pots (extremely satisfying!!)
