Ever wondered what its like to make pottery on the wheel?

That beautiful fluid and hypnotic movement you see as pottery move clay on the wheel...

If your curiosity is sparked then Not Yet Perfect Beginner Wheelwork workshop is the experience for you, and a great taster to learning the beautiful art of pottery.

During the two hour workshop, you'll be guided to create pottery on the wheel, how to shape and mould your pieces. Learn the basic ins and outs of the pottery process, from design stage to final product.

This is a fun and therapeutic process!

Wheel work classes are held at Not Yet Perfect Studio at Heathcote Cultural Precinct in Applecross. Not Yet Perfect welcomes individuals to come and learn a new skill during this two-hour creative experience. There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.

• 1 complimentary piece, firing & glazing

• If any work made is kept, a $20 charge per piece is applicable to cover firing and glazing. All work will be glazed in gloss glaze.

Tickets & Refund

Please select carefully when choosing your workshop date and time. We DO NOT refund or reschedule workshop bookings. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another person.

Firing

If requested for, all pieces made will be fired and glazed and ready for pickup a minimum of 8 weeks after the workshop date. All participants will be notified via text when items are ready for pickup.

Firing Fees

Firing fee of $20 per piece paid during your workshop covers the trimming process, glazing of your works and 2 kiln firings.

Pottery Breakage

In the unfortunate case were your pottery breaks or cracks in the kiln, Not Yet Perfect do not offer refunds, as this is the nature of the firing process- pottery is a beautiful yet delicate process.While we take the utmost care to ensure all works are delivered in the best conditions, in the case were any ceramics breaks due to mishandling, you will be contacted by one of our team and a full refund of your firing fee will be offered.

COVID-19 POLICY

Due to an overwhelming number of Covid related cancellations and revised government guidelines, we have updated our cancellation policy with immediate effect.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment at short notice due to Covid, we will require a copy of your positive PCR result in order for our standard policy $50 cancellation fee to be waived.

If you are a close contact, our standard cancellation/reschdueling policy $50 fee will still apply.
